Here's one of my favorite pictures of Daisy. This was taken during the greatest snowfall in El Paso's recorded history, back in 1987. I measured a depth of 14 inches in the backyard where this picture was taken. In fact I was taking pictures when Daisy decided to wade out to me to see what I was doing so I just had to take a photo of her too. She seemed to enjoy the snow--I recall one time when she was running back and forth across the yard over a couple of inches of snow. She usually did that when she was barking at a plane but there was no plane and she wasn't barking so she must have been doing it for fun. Afterwards Mom would wash her feet in warm water to keep ice crystals that might be trapped in the fur between her toes from hurting her feet.
